2011 PROFESSIONAL ADVISORS SEMINAR

Registration is open for Charitable Tax Planning For 2011 and Beyond, the Dallas Jewish Community Foundation's 2011 Professional Advisors Seminar, which takes place from 7:30 to 10:15 a.m., September 15 at the Westin Galleria, 13340 Dallas Parkway, Dallas, TX. 75240.

Registration fees are $55 before September 1st and $65 after September 1st and include 2 CE credits and a hearty breakfast buffet. The seminar, now in its 16th successful year, features Christopher R. Hoyt, M.S., J.D., C.P.A.

Professor Christopher R. Hoyt teaches courses in the areas of federal taxation, business organizations, retirement plans, and tax-exempt organizations at the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Law. Previously, he was with the law firm of Spencer, Fane, Britt & Browne in Kansas City, Missouri. He received an undergraduate degree in economics from Northwestern University and he received dual law and accounting degrees from the University of Wisconsin. He attained membership in the Order of the Coif and received three American Jurisprudence Awards for achievements in specific classes.

Hoyt is currently the Chair of the American Bar Association's Committee on Lifetime and Testamentary Charitable Gift Planning (Section of Probate and Trust) and serves on the editorial board of Trusts and Estates magazine. He is a frequent speaker at legal and educational programs and has been quoted in numerous publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, MONEY Magazine, The New York Times and The Washington Post.
