The Dallas Jewish Community Foundation is our community’s Jewish “Community Foundation”. It is a publicly supported charity, recognized by the IRS as fully tax-exempt. DJCF administers funds donated by individuals; and manages charitable funds at the behest of other tax-exempt organizations; for the benefit of the Greater Dallas community, and for charitable purposes both locally and nationally, as well as in Israel.
Originally Founded in 1973 to serve as the trust and endowment arm of the Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas and the organized Jewish community, the Foundation continues to fulfill that role now, more than three decades later, as a fully independent, true community foundation, managing more than $120 million in assets.
